The Montfort Catering College was started in the year 2010,with the objective primarily being to train students to join the hospitality industry .It is a professional course where the students chooses and specializes in end of the year. The academics with hotel management focuses on the core aspects of hospitality with a mix of management subjects which is required for the growth of a student. Industry interface is a key aspect of the course, where professionals from hotels like the Taj group, GRT group, Oberois, ITC hotels, Park Hotels to name a few handle various sessions with the students. The student has to undergo few weeks internship during the course period.
The world of hospitality is more than just travel or tourism. It is about hotels, cruise business, culinary arts, food services, leisure themed elements, sports and events management.
Hospitality has changed dramatically with a whole new dimension of new design, technology, e-commerce, international strategies and solid investments.
