Admission Procedure

  1. Registration forms will be made available at the Institute’s office from June to August
  2. To obtain the Registration Form by post, a requisition letter, a self addressed cover with sufficient stamp and a D.D in favor of “Montfort Catering College, Yercaud” payable at any bank in Yercaud must be sent.
  3. Cost of registration form is Rs.250
  4. Duly filled in Registration form should reach the college office on or before 30th August.
  5. The medium of instruction will be English. Interviews with students and the parents will be held before the admission.
  6. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  7. Procuring a registration form does not guarantee admission.
  8. Selected students will receive detailed information regarding the admission procedure, course of study, fees schedule etc. If selected all original certificates required (TC, mark sheet, community certificate and ten passport size photos) must be submitted.
  9. The fees must be paid at the time of admission. Cost of uniforms and other items (Kitchen and Service Kits) must be met separately.
  10. Students are requested, strictly not to change their courses after getting admitted to a particular course until the completion of the course.

The Montfort Catering College was started in the year 2010,with the objective primarily being to train students to join the hospitality industry .It is a professional course where the students chooses and specializes in end of the year. The academics with hotel management focuses on the core aspects of hospitality with a mix of management subjects which is required for the growth of a student. Industry interface is a key aspect of the course, where professionals from hotels like the Taj group, GRT group, Oberois, ITC hotels, Park Hotels to name a few handle various sessions with the students. The student has to undergo few weeks internship during the course period.
