The House System
| Houses | Color | Emblem | | Montfort House | Yellow | A red lion on a gold field | | Patrick House | Green | A gold shamrock on a green field | | Gabriel House | Blue | White wings with a gold arrow on an azure field |
In order to promote a healthy competitive spirit among the students and
to excel in studies, curricular activities, sports and games, the
students are grouped into three houses. T-shirts of their respective
house colours differentiate the students during games and other
ceremonial occasions. House Masters and teachers to each of the three
houses to guide and streamline the activities of their house with their
Captains and Prefects. Their emblems call upon the qualities they are
required to imbue.
House Picnics The House Masters and Captains organize house picnics for their houses.
These picnics are wonderful opportunities for the house members to come
together in fellowship as a separate entity within the Montfort family.
Each house selects a distinct spot (such as an estate or a mountain
cliff) prior to the event and its Captains and Prefects prepare for it
with games, matches, treasure hunts, flag hunts tea packets, snacks and
a scrumptious lunch. The houses vie with each other for the "Best
Organized" picnic applause.
