The Annual General Body Meeting ( AGBM ) – 26th July 2009.
The AGBM was organized on 26th of July at 10.00 a.m. in the School Library. Nearly 100 Alumni members participated in this programme.
After the Prayer song and the School song, the President, Bro.George K.J. addressed the gathering and appraised them about the various ‘developments’ in the School and for the Alumni. He also spoke at length about the theme of the year “ Take a New Road…..Be the change!” and challenged every Alumni member to take a new road in their Journey of life.
The Madurai chapter of the Alumni came forward to hoist the next Chapter get together at Madurai on 02nd and 03rd January 2010. The President thanked the Kerala chapter of the Alumni for the chapter get together at Cochin and also appreciated the Madurai chapter Alumni members for coming forward to organize the next chapter get together. The President also paid glowing tribute to the late Rev.Bro.Felix, Rev.Bro.Basil, Rev.Bro.Montfort of the Cross, Rev.Bro.John of the Cross, Rev.Bro.Dominic Savio and Mr.Grahadurai for their contribution to Montfort and Montfortians.
A minute’s silence was observed for the repose of their souls and those of other Alumni members.
Mr.P.V.Padmanathan and Mr.Abraham also addressed the AGBM and appreciated the President, Mangament, Staff and Students for the wonderful 93rd Sports festival and also for all the growth and development at School.
After the AGBM, there was a group photograph which was followed by a grand lunch hoisted by the School for the General Body members.
