The day’s celebrations started with the Holy Eucharistic, during which, special prayers were offered for our country.  After the mass, the entire school gathered in the assembly ground to hoist the National Flag.

The Chief guest was  Fr. John Alphonse, Parish Priest-Yercaud.  In his address he advised the students to work hard and to serve the country without looking for monetary benefit only.   The Principal also challenged the students to grow up such a way so that they  can transform our country and make it the greatest in the world.

The special assembly was organized by the Montfort scouts and was much appreciated by the students and the members of staff.

After the breakfast, the students of std.VIII, IX & XI went out for social service by cleaning the roads around the school.
